New viral seeding launch

Happy new year! I'm starting the new year by getting through all the jobs I've been meaning to do, building the foundations so that the rest of the year goes nice and smoothly. First off I've and created better branding and redesigned my Viral Seeding website which now includes most of the campaigns I have worked on and the results for each of them - the nice bits of coverage that I achieved. At the end of the day it's about results so I wanted to include this. It is also has a bit more about what viral seeding is about.

The good news is that it's already providing results. Traffic is increasing and I'm getting a few inquiries.


Next up is another redesign, along similar lines for Lee Washington Design which also features a CMS which will make it easier to add new projects.

Angel Art Market exhibition

I spent the weekend at the Angel Art Market at my first exhibition of my canvas prints. Despite a closed tube station and snow there was a decent turnout and I was really pleased with how it went. It was really nice to see the reactions to my work and to talk with other exhibitors. I sold two prints which is excellent and I'm planning on returning to the market in the summer after next term of uni. Here's a photo and in true digital marketing style I've made a short video:

Newzeal-and microsite

We've created a microsite for Tourism New Zealand and Air New Zealand to promote the cool cosmopolitan side of the destination. The site features a city guide to galleries, restaurants and shopping so it's a handy addition for anyone planning on visiting the country and really exploring what it has to offer. New Designers 2007

I visited the New Designers Exhibition. Some really excellent work that got me excited about my upcoming Product Design degree. It made me realise how much I enjoy design as my brain started ticking over with new ideas. Some of the highlights for me was the work of Jonathan Aspinall and Mark John Fisher. Jon has created a series of interconnecting cups, perfect for anyone who has made more than two cups of tea in the offfice:











I also particularly like his frame washing up bowls for adding a bit of humour to washing up:

New prints

Have just collected my biggest run of prints yet - seven altogether. I've had two new ones made - I would have... and Woman in Lodge. Am really pleased with both of them. My aim this year was to increase the range of prints that I sell and the number of shops that I sell them in. I'm half way there.

Facebook is more Addictive than crack T-shirts

This has been keeping me very busy. Some ideas need to be made a reality as quickly as possible and this one was one of them. A colleague of mine said "Facebook is more addictive than crack" and I said "That'd make a good T-shirt". So I went and designed one, got a screenprint made and designed a website. I'm picking up the first run of T-shirt this evening (which have all already been sold!). It's a very exciting time as I actually think with this one that we have a good product. Bollard

This has been getting a lot of attention on my facebook group so I thought I'd post it here. This was one of my projects for college, to hijack something and make it your own. I hate street bollards. They're ugly and they're everywhere. I decided to create something that makes them more appealing.
